- What Blintz lacked in cleanliness, he made up for with friendliness -

Again, this page is more for me than anyone else. I consider our pets as a big part of our family and it is very painful to lose a family member.

Blintzy was only 4 years old when he passed away. He had so many medical problems, and it's aggravating to think he had to deal with all that being so small and new to the world. It's not fair what he had to go through.

You were such a fighter, my little man. You are severely missed.

  • He was always damp…some part of him…was always damp

  • He didn't meow, he screamed

  • He had the coolest little rat tail

  • His tail was always bolt upright and rigid

  • He always tried to rub his face on your face…the hardest he possibly could

  • If you were in the bathroom, so was he…no questions

  • LOVED running water

  • Always hung with me on his perch in my computer room

  • Loved window sills

  • Actually rode Barron bareback up the stairs

  • He loved his stick, especially the stinking blue feather at the end (which ended up a stub)…any other toy would be ignored

  • Always made a mess on his food perch

  • Always waited for you on the toilet or sink while you were in the shower

  • He farted the first time I picked him up at the shelter

  • Often has dried food stuck to his face

  • Left a black blintz mark on the bathroom wall

  • Scraped up the stairs for you while you walked up them

  • Waited at Barron's water dish so they could drink together

  • Always licked Jules' eyelids

  • Loved to chew on the window blind cords

  • Was Skye's protector for the first few months of her life

  • He was such a friendly little guy

  • Preferred dry food to wet, even though he had only 8 teeth

  • he was on 5 different medications, including an IV that Jules and I had to give him twice a week

  • had serious kidney, liver, and pancreas problems which he did not deserve. He was an amazing fighter.

  • Was never the same after Riley died

  • He had the most beautiful emerald green innocent eyes
